OK, this is my first video, so constructive criticism is appreciated. I re-encoded it as an Adobe Flash flv file and it should play on nearly every browser. The image quality is fairly high so you can actually see what I'm doing with no drop-outs or fuzz-ball images. Thus it is rather large, ~50MB, depending on the speed of your internet link and how your web browser is configured to play this file type will determine how soon the file will be playable.

I think many of you will find it useful. The process will work with forums on SBL, atlbike.org and bikeNARC.com. If you do have problems or questions just email or PM me.

Some people had trouble playing the files directly.
I put a copy of "Configuring Your Forum Profile" on Vimeo.

Let me know how this works for you.
Did you find the video helpful?

I think it should be helpful. I had already set up mine as much as I want to for now. I didn't need it, but I have a computer back ground. I worked help desk for many years and trained people on how to use different applications our programmers wrote. I also programmed for micros systems. So, I think the step by step should help any users that are having issues setting up a profile.

Thanks for the feedback.
Where's that signature block in your post? Wink

Some people had problems with the other links.

I've added an embedded media player to the atlbike.org site.
Please try the link below and let me know how the player works for you.
It would help me to know what browsers and host software do/don't work.

Since it's a page that I built you don't have to deal with intrusive video ads or pop-ups, blinking banner ads, etc. and runs on my home server, it's fast loading.

So far all reports are good. This player works with Macs and systems that had problems with IE.
